He is rescued from a boat that he later discovers belongs to some drug traffickers; with the new learned skill, Oliver routs the gang and has them arrested. Later, wearing a "Robin Hood" costume and using his economic resources to finance his arsenal and strengthening his body through various martial arts, Oliver Queen becomes Green Arrow, the executioner of Star City. Inspired by Batman and Robin, Ollie adopts a boy, the young Roy Harper who, with the name of Speedy, becomes his sidekick, using a Cave Arrow as headquarters.
