The various nations of Teyvat refer to various geographical areas of the real world: of those currently playable, Mondstadt was built inspired by Central Europe (in particular Germany), Liyue by some Chinese regions and Inazuma by the Japanese archipelago. Archons can give some particularly deserving people a gem called "Vision", which allows them to use abilities related to the element to which it belongs. Each playable character has one, with the exception of the Traveler, who can mysteriously manipulate all elements.
