Having become a human-devil hybrid, Denji eliminates the Zombie Devil and meets Makima, an officer of the devil hunters department of the Public Security, who, given his fighting skills, decides to enlist him in the Fourth Division of the Public Security, a section experimental in which the use of intelligent devils and not hostile (within certain limits) to human beings in the fight against other devils is tested. Here Denji will meet the surly Aki Hayakawa, Power, a female blood devil with extremely violent and childish behavior, and other human and non-human hunters with whom he will begin the hunt for the Pistol Devil, personification of the human terror of weapons, responsible for one of the most horrific massacres in history and wanted around the world following his sudden disappearance.
